Winter is one of my favourite lipstick seasons. All those dark berry tones and deep reds are great for looking extra put-together during the winter months. Some days I won't even both much with the rest of my makeup but a good lip
(and a good brow) is really all you need. Here are some of my favourites this year.
Calvin Klein Berry Cool Lip Gloss: This is a lovely lipgloss with really good opacity. For a more subtle lip I just dab it on with my finger, and for a more bold lip I'll layer it over another dark lipstick. (available now on Groupon)
Rimmel Apocolips Lip Laquer: This is another great lipgloss (or actually a bit of a lipgloss / lipstick hybrid) and it has some serious staying power. The formula is also really great and opaque.
P.S.Love.. Matte Long Lasting Lipstick in Ladies Day : This is the ultimate bargain lipstick at just €2 but you wouldn't guess it's so cheap. It's a great matte lipstick and it's available in loads of shades.(available in Penneys / Primark)
Revlon Super Lustrious Lipstick in VaVaViolet : This is the ultimate dark lip. It's the darkest shade I own and I had to go on a proper hunt for it. It was discontinued for a while but I found this one on ebay. It does have to be layered up to get the true colour and it's quite hard to apply with a lipliner, I still haven't found one to match, but I do love it. (available on ebay)
QiBest Lip Series Lipstick in 05: I just picked this up the other day for about €1 so I didnt't expect too much from it but I really like the colour and it's a little bit different than anything else I have so I'm looking forward to wearing it more. (available on ebay)
